I see a reflection
Someone looking back at me
With purplish-red hair
A very plus size body
Someone with lots of scars
The hair is thin
Falling out
I don’t know why
The see the bald spot
Growing everyday
The scars all over
Showing battle wounds
From years before
The abuse and stories each one holds
The body as a whole
The curves that shape
All the way to my toes
Hair on my chest
Thick hair on my arms
Hair on the tummy
All that shouldn’t be there
Yet, this body
Is all I got
I see a reflection
Staring back at me
Seeing the loneliness
That fills the soul
The windows in my eyes
With no flame showing
Someone screaming
To escape the mental misery
The reflection is staring back
The story it tells
Maybe one day someone will listen
Grasp the person in an embrace
To break what I see
