Watching Me

 You see me laying there

Crying

Shaking

You stand over me watching

Wondering

 

You stand there looking

Deciding

Should you kneel down

Should you hold me

Wipe my tears

 

You walk slowly over to me

Hearing me louder

Seeing me shake harder

You look and wonder

 

Should you touch me

Should you hold me

Wipe my tears

 

I look up at you

Pleading

Never saying a word

Tears steaming my face

 

You kneel next to me

You do not touch me

You stare

Wondering what to do

 

Do you like what you see

Do you like me tormented

Do you like the battered

Bruised

Shattered

Broken

Raw

 

I bury my face in my hands

Laying there crying

As you watch me

As you watch me suffer

You say nothing

 

Not a word comes out

Your eyes says it all

I know you don’t care

You are enjoying this

 

I still pleading with you

Begging you to stop

Stop all of this

You don’t seem to know how

You have done this to long

 

You just watch

You just stare

You just wonder
