The Demons Inside

 I hear you whispering

in my ear

you are reminding me

what it was like

 

you saw the demons

that are stuck inside

fighting to come alive

 

but you keep pushing them

pushing them away

yet I do not understand why

 

these demons that are inside

so so much fun

the road they take you on

the one that curves

and goes in the dark

 

where the shadows come to play

where they speak the truth

they know what you want

they know what you hide

they just want to release

what is inside

 

for you stand on the edge

as I try to lure you in

I try to sweeten that deal

we want you to come in

 

release those demons

and let them loose

let them do their damage

play their course

for you know how much fun

this always is
